    Macro Hack: Starbucks Peppermint Mocha

    Happy Friday Eve, friends!

    Who doesn’t love a nice festive coffee drink during the holiday season? They’re so cozy and delicious… but often loaded with sugar and make me feel, well, not so good.

    Thankfully there are so many ways to customize a drink to make it a little more macro-friendly! A cafe misto is just coffee + steamed milk, and I find it’s a great way to still get that “latte feel”. You can add any flavors you like.

    To get this “peppermint mocha”, ask for a cafe misto (the default milk used is 2%, but you can ask to substitute with something else if needed) with 1 pump of peppermint syrup and 2 pumps of skinny mocha sauce. Add Splenda to taste. Otherwise this is super easy to customize on the Starbucks app.
