    Black Bean Protein Brownies

    Black Bean Protein Brownie recipe makes 9 brownies.  Macros per brownie: 21p 15c 6f (200kcals) .  These are pretty dense and more of a fudg-ey texture.  They taste great with a side of some ice cream or frozen yogurt 🙂


    • Preheat oven to 350F
    • grease a 8×8 or 9×9 pan
    • Mix together the following ingredients:
      • 1.5cups (1 regular can) of drained black beans that have been processed or blended until smooth
      • 6 scoops (~2cups) of protein powder – any flavor, but chocolate is preferable! (I used PEScience here- code LACEY for discount)
      • 4 tbsp cocoa
      • 4 tbsp peanut butter
      • 1 tsp baking powder
      • 1 tsp sea salt
      • 1/2 cup maple syrup (i used sugar free)
    • Pour batter into baking pan
    • Bake for 40-50minutes until done
    • ENJOY!!
