    Basic Protein Waffle

    3 Ingredients, gluten free, under 200kcals! This has been a go-to recipe for both myself and Lacey as fun way to hit protein macros.  It makes for an easy pre/post-workout meal as well as a macro-friendly breakfast or dessert!

    Macros for 1 waffle: 30p 12c 1.5f (184kcals) 


    • Protein Powder (any will work, but I prefer using Quest or PES – my top proteins for baking)
    • Coconut Flour ( I use Anthony’s goods)
    • Egg White (I use real eggs, but liquid egg whites will also work – just more expensive)
    • Water

    **Waffle maker I currently have is here, but I also love using the mini-waffle maker which I got from Pamcakes site (makes 2 waffles instead of 1 – seen below). You can also find a mini on amazon here.**



    1. Preheat waffle maker
    2. Mix together the following:
      • 30grams protein powder (about 1 scoop)
      • 14grams (2TBSP) coconut flour
      • 1 egg white (~33grams)
      • 4TBSP water
      • optional: add chocolate chips (not included in macros)
    3. Grease waffle maker
    4. Cook until done
      • you can also mix this together in a mug and microwave it for 60seconds for an easy mug cake as well
